Hard Truths : Self-Care

Self-care is going to be a tough journey as you will encounter many confusing puzzles that were left unsolved for long period of time.

  1. You will be disappointing some people when you prioritize your self-care

  2. Self-care means doing what you don't feel like doing in the present moment to benefit future you.

  3. Your boundaries will scare some people away. You are setting limits and access to your life.

  4. You do not owe anyone your own time, a quick text response, or emotional support when you are struggling to deal with your own emotions. Do not neglect to take care of yourself in order to prioritize someone else. Put yourself first.

  5. If you are not feeling fulfilled and do not have own self-affirmations, you can not lend anything to somebody else. You can not fill others, when yourself is empty. This will only leads to disappointment and acrimony, to both sides.

  6. Self-care is about letting go of habits, choices and actions that no longer serves your purpose of fulfillment and mindfulness surrounding you.

  7. You need to be honest with yourself, by acknowledging and admitting all the toxic deeds that have hurt you. Especially your past mistakes and the in denials mindset that has always pull you back into the same dungeon.
